School Age Child Care
Western Indiana Community Action Agency, Inc. provides positive, nurturing child care both before and after school for Vigo County elementary school children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Mentally and physically stimulating activities compliment the day's activities in school and space is provided for homework.
All of our childcare providers have gone through a police background check, national sex registry check, drug testing, TB testing, and have completed CPR and first aid training. Child care is provided during the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more detailed information and current rates please click on the Parent Handbook link below.
